Introduction
BADA BANG is operated by Air Venturi ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains how we collect, use, store, share and protect personal data when you use the BADA BANG mobile application for Android and iOS, the BADA BANG target system, and the badabang.com website (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here. For any questions about your data, contact support@airventuri.com.
Information we collect
Account information. When you create an account in the app, we collect your email address and the name you choose to display.
Shooting session data. The app records data generated by the target system during your sessions, including shot placement, timing, scores and session history, so that you can track your progress and take part in competitions with other users.
Device and technical information. We collect the device model, operating system version, app version, language and region settings, and identifiers used to deliver push notifications.
Usage and diagnostic data. We collect information about how the app is used, including screens opened, features used, error logs and crash reports, so that we can find and fix problems.
Bluetooth connection data. The app communicates with the BADA BANG target over Bluetooth. This connection is used solely to operate the target and transfer session results, and we do not use Bluetooth to determine your location.
Website data. When you visit badabang.com we collect standard web analytics information such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed and time spent on them.
How we use this information
We use the information above to create and maintain your account, operate the target system and record your sessions, provide leaderboards and competitive features, send service-related notifications, respond to support requests, diagnose technical problems, and improve the app. We do not use your data for automated decision-making, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers acting on our behalf: the hosting provider that operates our servers, the push notification provider that delivers messages to your device, and the crash reporting and analytics providers that help us diagnose problems. These providers may process data only on our instructions and may not use it for their own purposes.
We may also disclose data where required by law, in response to a valid request from a public authority, to protect our legal rights, or in connection with a merger or acquisition, with appropriate notice to users.
We never sell your personal data.
How we protect your data
All data is sent over encrypted HTTPS connections and stored on access-controlled servers, where only authorized staff can access it. Access is granted on a need-to-know basis and is protected by authentication. We review our security practices periodically and apply updates to the systems that hold personal data.
Data retention
We keep your account information and session data for as long as your account is active. Diagnostic and crash data is kept for a limited period and then deleted. Where we are required to retain certain records for legal, accounting or fraud-prevention purposes, we keep only what is necessary for that purpose and delete the rest.
Account deletion
You can request deletion of your BADA BANG account at any time. Send a request to support@airventuri.com from the email address linked to your account. We will verify the request and delete the account together with the personal data associated with it, including your profile and session history. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Where we are legally required to retain limited records, we will retain only those records and delete everything else. Instructions are also available at badabang.com/wp/delete-account.html.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to correct inaccurate data, to request deletion, to obtain a copy of your data in a portable format, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact support@airventuri.com from the email address linked to your account. We may ask you to verify your identity before we act on a request.
Cookies and analytics
The badabang.com website uses cookies to remember your preferences and to collect anonymised traffic statistics through Google Analytics. You can accept or reject non-essential cookies through the banner shown on your first visit, and change your choice at any time through the cookie settings on the site. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser, though parts of the site may not work as intended. See our Cookie Policy for details.
Children's privacy
The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact support@airventuri.com and we will delete it.
International transfers
Our servers are located in the United States. If you use the Service from outside the United States, your data will be transferred to and processed there, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. We take reasonable steps to ensure your data remains protected in line with this policy.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always published at badabang.com/wp/privacy-policy.html, and the effective date above will reflect the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated in the app or on the website.
